Repair your DYNO
First, 600rwh is not 700hp.. There are 3 dynos here in Austin that I use. I have dynoed several of my same cars at all three and they were all within 3-5 rwh.. The guys that lease a building from me, Boost Logic and Performance Motorsports, build 1400hp + Supras and other turbo cars, use the same dynos. I am building a new facility and in about three months we will have our own. The numbers are real, I just have come across the "right" combination. I'm sure you can make more power with a larger cam ect., but there is always a sacrifice in the end.

tjwong, you have a PM.

Sacrfice is right, some people like much larger cams but loose out under the curve where you can really use the power. Sure it makes for a higher peak number to brag about but in the real world bragging don't cut it, where power put where you can use it will. Camshafts is one thing in this case where bigger isn't always better. Case in point, for many of my customers a small LPE GT11 cam measuring 215/230 ground on a 118 LSA makes great power gains all across the board starting at 1600 RPMs, and peaks at 440 whp and 407 wtq in a LS2 with ported LS2 heads, intake and TB. Others with much larger cams may peak higher but loose in the lower RPMs. And the small GT11 sounds and idles like stock so there are no modded give away lope when they go to the dealer for warranty work

Thanks, you know I will be there with the red car and my new Miata track car..

I have been getting several PM's about my car. For the record again, this car has no headwork other than upgraded springs. Since it is my track car, it is on a conservative tune, pump gas. I have some new ideas that will be going into my blk Z, I am anxious to see what it will make..

I gotta tell ya, the vettes and the rest are nice, but that mustang is the bomb. It has been my favorite body style since I was in high school in the early 70s. Whats the poop on that car?

SW - Again, as always, your cars look and perform AMAZING!! I have followed you for over 7 years since back in my Supra Days, and your cars are never short of Outstanding! Good Job once again!

I would love to buy a cam from you if you are selling them?? I understand that 4 cams in a car with the expense of dyno tuning, etc, you should be able to make something off that cost........

Diversity helps make the world go around and SW, you sure have some nice "D" in your stable. Congratulations on the great rides and fantastic communication to the forum.

It was ALL tail pipe readings.

Sometimes an O2 with a digital A/F reader is inserted into one of the rear O2's bungs during the street tuning process. The HPT scan options also allows for many variable readings and on the "fly" adjustments.

Thanks,
Carlos
