kevettez06, the Mustang is not forsale, it will be at SEMA next month. My fastest street car is my Supra, but I have not taken it to the strip yet. My personal collection is different from my business inventory.

am124es2, the QM600 is a good cam, makes good power and has good drivability. It does not drive like stock, no matter who tues it, but it drives well. You cannot put it in 6th gear at 1300 rpm, but anything above 1500-1600 it's fine.

I think getting the right cam in your car will give you guys the best bang for the buck. I really don't think spending money on heads are worth the small gains you will get..

Hmmm, I will have to check with Pat. It sounds to me that you did not get the filter upon the delivery of your car. I swear, if you things done, you must do it yourself!!! I WILL FIND THAT FILTER!

The key here is the air fuel ratio. The LS7 love the mid 13:1 air fuel ratios. I'm blind without my glasses, but it looks like around 13.5:1 once the a/f ratio stabilized at rpm.

Isn't that a bit lean?

Seems like you get good dyno power but would burn it up on the track.

Default Nice numbers!

Seems 570rwhp is the max power which is streetable. Carlos has created a few of these beasts. I am wondering how much does the LPE MAF really help???? Do not see any gains from this.....

I think the LPE MAF is for linearity way up high. However, over 6000 Hz most applications are WOT and in PE. It WOULD be nice to have a 100 TB and MAF though

While I like the design of the LPE MAF and I can say that it is a very well designed sensor that works very well. The Killer Bee housing is quite similar in design and works well too. I would like to test them side by side on a LS7 to see if there is any difference. I don't see any linearity issues with the LPE design, at least none that I have experienced in a few previous installations that were in LS1 stroker engines making mid 400 RWHP numbers. In these cases and in one LTx application where a blower was involved all benefited from the larger LPE design. MAP pressure increased from 96 Kpa to 99 Kpa and more. In all cases tweaking of the MAF table was required to make it perform ideally.

As far as I know, my red Z is the only one that has made 570/513 that Patrick has done. I had the LPE set up on my blk car and went with the killer bee set up, but we changed up a few other things so we can't compare before/ after..

SW? you mentioned that with your current cam you could at low rpm in 6th; which would you recommend for someone like that wasn?t lose that kind driveability?

I don't mind a little cam bounce at idle? but I cruise alot and dont want to hurt its street manners and fuel efficiency.

I'd be interested in some feedback on this too. I don't mind lope at idle (in fact I like it) but I'd hate to have to drive in 5th on the interstate because the car won't cruise at 1.5-2k rpm smoothly anymore.
