6Speeder,

In addition to the missing slip, your submission omitted a link to your original Corvette Forum post reporting the pass. Please edit that into your submission along with an image of the slip or a link to the image.

Here is my timeslip:

Help me out with this one please.http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...post1561270565

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...post1561371908

I have a post from 7/29/07 and another from 8/5/07. The 8/5 post describes a quickest trap speed of of 122.2 at a DA of 7934' ???? and struggling with this one, maybe my brain is running slow today.

The 7/29 post says " best of 12.22 @118, with a DA of 7,500'

The 8/5 post says "best MPH of 122.2 at a DA of 7934' Presumably this is from the 8/3 run.

The above time slip is from 8/3?? 12.159 @Trap speed 122.18. It has no date on it, but as per your 8/5 post your quickest trap had been 122.2??? Also this DA in your latest post in this thread is listed at 8,286'???? In the 8/5 post it is listed at 7934'

And then there is this one from 8/19 http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...post1561565464

Help me out here. The different DAs and different trap speeds and absence of a date on the time slip are confusing me.

Ya, that would be confusing. The site I used to use for calculating DA is down, it was giving the 7934' reading. I have since been using this one:

http://www.planettalso.com/weatherre...n/Default.aspx

It gives the 8286' reading. It also gives the least correction to ET and MPH, oh well.

The run was on August third, this year.

BTW the right side of the slip was a Black modified viper. He wasn't very happy that I beat him.

Question.. .I have an 11.37 run modified on street tires but I will be beating it on Friday. So should I submit it and then just submit the replacement or just wait till after I beat the old run?

You are certain that you are going to beat it?

OK, I'll wait till you submit the results of that pass.

I'm going to have to leave you out of the stock category because of THIS post.

These are my BEST runs ever not my average runs. I have run faster in the 1/8 on other runs but have not ever run any faster in the 1/4. LPFSTheFett's car is running 122 stock and mine is running 124 modded. I think Long tube headers, Electric water pump, CAI, and a Tune should be good for more than 2 MPH. The biggest thing to note is that I can 60' the car. I have wound 3rd gear out and tapped the rev limiter, I have shifted, and I have short shifted it.

We will see what happens on the Dyno on Monday.

But now I can put you into the "Bolt-Ons without Internal Engine Modification" category if you wish.

Let me know.

Quicksilver,

I did post a thread sharing my first trip to the drag's with my 07 Z.

I posted in late 06 or early 07.

I did a serach on JWGJR but the only post that shows up is the post in this thread. I maybe doing something wrong or my post was deleted.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have my timeslip but will need your help in posting. I made notes on my timeslip on the details of my run.

Is it correct to assume that my times will not be included if I can't find my original post?

My times aren't great and likely will not be in the top 50 so I guess it doesn't really matter - but I was happy that all of my times were faster than my C5 Z06 on drag radials after 50+ passes. Wasn't bad to match the Chevy spec either.

Regards,

Just one more thing, and I am not trying to be a hard *** here. I am looking at this time slip and I can see the ragged bottom edge and ragged right edges of it. I can also see the left edge of it and the holes in the paper for the printer.

However I cannot see the top edge of it. That appears to be cut clean off. In other words, out of the picture. I don't think it was cut with the scissors. It appears to either have been just cut out of the picture or masked off.

Here, I'll show you what I mean.

Name: TimeSlip.jpg

Size: 43.1 KB[/QUOTE]

Does the top edge, which is cut off, have the name of the track and the date on it??
