DA was probably around 1600. It was about 85 degree out.

No grief about roll bars (*knock on wood*) but the Test & Tune tech inspector told me I needed a jacket if I was going to consistently run faster than 11.50's.

Good to know, as a couple of us Zonies may be planning another trip out there to catch some of the better air than what we get locally.

Thanks, Marlon! Getting a Mantic 9k clutch put in next week and after break in I've got to convince you to drive up to SRP and hot shoe it for me when the weather gets better. It'll go 10's for sure. ;-)

Lol we might be able to make that happen but i know you'll be able to do it. Let me know when you plan on going again. I should be back out there at some point this year. Just waiting until after the 1/2 mile event at the end of October

Will do !!! Last time out there back in 2011 with theSubFloor, HOXXOH, SL33P3R, and a few others.....800 mile trip one way, $50 TNT, and FOG !!!! LOL Stock at that time, but the dreaded clutch pedal on the floor syndrome kept me out of the 10's that morning.

Sounded like you could try to be a little more aggressive on your launch and make faster shifts.

By more aggressive, I mean higher launch rpm and/or get off the clutch & into the gas a little faster. Experiment...

Thanks Ron. This is my 2 time out at the race track. I have 7 pass total under my belt. 4 pass total from that event.

I definitely have lots of room for improvement and would love pointers.

That pass was done at 3k slipping the stock clutch. Maybe 4k or 4.5k the time next out?

I've been thinking about picking up a MGW shifter to help with my slow shifting. What do you think?
