Default Any of you find your self going sideways?

A little touch of rain on the streets and I almost lost it accelerating in a straight stretch off the light today.

Later the roads were dry and I stepped in to 2nd gear on a hill and the back end skipped and swung out again on me! Yikes!

I need to be a little more respectful of that gas pedal. Even the AC Cobra didn't pull like this beast.

It is much better on warm dry roads with warm tires. But still requires respect.

A nice, controlled power slide always gets the wife grabbing for the door handle. Love it!

You have a nice wife. Mine starts screaming and calling me crazy. Of course, I still love it.

The first time I pushed it a little on an "S"-curved entrance ramp with traction control off, the backend broke loose and went sideways. I don't claim to be good enough to handle that on my own!

Just tame yourself, if possible

Don't be to lulled by the AH/TC. If you romp on it at just the right/wrong moment, the rear will still kick WAY out AND you can't "stay on it" cause it'll back off all by itself and wind up kicking back.

Owners of other cars spend thousands of dollars trying to get them to do this.

It is the driver's job to get the power to the road!
