Thanks Jim. I hope you're right. I actually get down to South Carolina a couple of times a year (I have in-laws in Greenville and Manning). I'm actually planning on driving down for Thanksgiving. Perhaps we can meet up. I may try to run over and do the ?Tail of the Dragon on Wednesday before the holiday. I'll PM you my contact info. Nigel.

I purchased the prototype Street Attack that was built for Dick Barbour in Nov 2006. This car is a beast. I recently had it chassis dynoed after some minor tuning at MTI Racing and it put out 528.8 HP and 497.8 Torque at the rear wheels. This motor was dynoed at Katech and put out 633 HP and 551 Torque at the crank. The only problem I have with the car is traction. This truly is a special car. I would consider selling this car for $160,000 firm (due to its history and the fact it is serial # 1) if anyone is interested. If anyone has lessor offers I will keep them in mind for future consideration, but I'm not desperate to sell the car. This may be one of the only times this rare car becomes available for sale. The car is flawless and has less than 4000 miles on it. I have a full box of misc. documentation I received from Dick Barbour and Katech on this car and its' build process. Katech went the extra mile for Mr. Barbour in their preparation of this car as it was the prototype in their development of the Street Attack package. You may contact me at vaughnjv@bellsouth.net. I do not want to part with this rare piece, yet I am considering a business venture and the funds would make a difference. I am located in Atlanta, Georgia. If I don't sell the car I hope to meet the other Katech members at a reunion in the future. Check out the following links which have some info and video of this masterpiece that Katech and Dick Barbour created. We need a Katech reunion this spring so we can meet and have some fun with our ultimate Z06's.
