Get it in a garage and then gently heat the garage if necessary; OR make certain you have enough antifreeze in it to cover you down to -40; OR put a block heater in it and keep it nice and cozy.
I used to live in COLD climates and any of these would work fine.
Good luck.

It's occupying the Denalis bay as I didn't move it to it's storage spot early enough and got caught with snow.
So it's the Denali that gets to park outside.I took it to wash it today (Denali) and broke the rear hatch handle off as I attempted to store the gas container for snowblower fuel...dam..see if I can get it under warranty (2005).Following wash I put it in the garage and parked the wife's MDX outside so I could dry out the doors/hatch etc and finally found the heater cord under the frame in the front driver side. Set it to the Xmas light timer for 2 hrs in the morn at 6:00 am as currently this winter I've been using the compustar starter but with fuel so high now and this being the coldest we experience this winter I thought I'd plug it for a couple hours.I generally start it when I rise as I have a remote on my keychain and one in the master bath and it runs for 15mins but even after 3 starts (45min) it doesn't get that warm (and you can't initiate the heated seats unless you push the button) so possibly the touch of elec will help. If I was really energetic I could re-design the third bay work bench and all and squish the vette in there but it probably won't happen now until summer...I installed a 150,000 btu overhead heater that works dandy but the melting snow/gravel/salt is a biatch !
Enough of this...

This is why I spent my January in our winter home in Vegas and not in Edmonton. It is not too warm here but at least we are well above freezing. I went outside to bring so garbage out in my t-shirt and shorts today. In Edmonton they would have checked me in for the mental ward.

I remember going skiing in Banff/Lake Louise about 15 years ago. We were flying into Calgary and the pilot says: "We're about 30 minutes from landing - the weather in Calgary is clear and calm with a temperature of minus 40 degrees centigrade".
My wife said: "Wow! That sounds cold, but I guess it's warmer than that in Fahrenheit". When I told her minus 40C was also minus 40F she looked kinda stunned - that's the way she looked when we walked out of the terminal, too.
It was up to -30C the next day but the ski areas were closed because of the cold. The next day it seemed downright warm when it got up to -15!!
BTW, it's pretty cold here today - only got up to about 63F and supposed to go down to 40F tonight!

-30C ??? Why would anyone ever want to live in a place like that? That area better have some real hot women.. or real low cost of living.. something.
