Default Zr-1

So if the new ZR-1 is priced at about 100k, what do you think the dealers will try to sale them for?

my best guess is a 35% markup initially.

135k ish.

some people will be stupid and pay it, then get mad when they are selling for 85k in 3 years.

That's a tough call because it all depends upon how many people are willing to pay $100K for a Chevrolet. Lots of wealthy car buyers are strongly influenced by the perceived status of owning a particular marque, with Ferrari being near the top of the heap. In terms of bang for the buck, the ZR1 will be the clear winner, but my guess is that there won't be lots of people linning up to buy them, but on the other hand GM already knows that, so production numbers will be very limited.

you can buy a ZR-1 for 15-30 grand.A ZR1 will most likely be 125,000-150,000.

Early on dealers will simply murder people buying one of these! MURDER.. Highway robbery on the sidewalk.. It will be just like the Ford GT! How much that is I don't know but I'm betting somewhere around 50 grand but that's probably low. There will be blood in the water and dealers will be piling on the DEALER ADJUSTMENTS!! Eventually it will level out but the "Gotta have it First Crowd" will be paying a very steep premium to drive one. For most of this crown however 150 to 200 grand is chump change. I'll bet to get bragging rights it will be worth the money to most of them...

If you have money -- 3 years is a long time (too many other cars come out in the mean time). If you don't have money, it is a moot point. Best
