Corsa X pipe A-B test, surprising results
I was pleased when I found out the Corsa X-pipe picked up 12 horsepower and 11 ft-lbs of torque almost across the board. The car is a 2007 Z06 with low miles, Torquer LS7 cam, stock airbox, stock exhaust manifolds and Corsa mufflers. I'll be adding this to the Stage 1 and Street Attack package. Its a good way to pick up 12hp and remain legal.

Curious did you put it back to standard and see if you lost those 12 and did you follow the relearn procedures. Reason I ask is some time back another CO came up with great numbers and then the next day all was gone.

Spring for some Kooks, LG Longtubes or American Racing Headers, along wih a Haltech Killer Bee or your favorite CAI. Add an ECM tune and a mild to wild switch and your set to go.
Results: Sweetest exhaust note known to man-kind and a some extra punch to remind you of the excellent decision you made.

Isn't 12 HP about what folks are claiming for LT headers + x-pipe? I'm wondering if all of the gains are coming from the x-pipe.

I'm not sure because headers and x pipe almost always accompanys a tune.

WHere did it gain power? 12hp at the top, or 12 hp from one end to the other (ones worth it to me, the other isnt... )
Would it easily attach to a stock exhaust and would it (in your opinion) provide similar gains on an otherwise stock vehicle?

70 horsepower increase over baseline
Stunna,
Having never tested this exact combination, I can only offer my opinion. I think it will offer gains close to this, but I think the cam plays a role also in this X-pipe's success.
Across the board, meaning at almost every rpm range.

Jason you should try it without any tuning to see what you get. From what I have seen on a Mustang MD600DE Chassis dyno that is in my shop, it's no more than 12 to 18 without any tuning with just headers or headers and a Corsa.
