Has anybody added the Rear Power Hatch Pull Down feature to the C6 Z06. I would like to add this, but I want to know how difficult it is:
Cabling
Pull Down Motor
Mounting
Part numbers
Cost
and if there are any modification that need to be made to the rear hatch.

Whole extra 2.5 pounds. Will really slow down the car.

I originally missed the auto close my 06 C6 had. After reading a few posts I got a plug in for the OBD port which rolls the windows up and down, among other things, using the fob. This is much better than auto close since the hatch always closes completely which wasn't always the case with the auto closer.

A forum vendor sells them. They are well worth the money (something like 140 or so) and probably a lot cheaper then retrofitting a pre 09 Z06, which according to reports is a major PITA. It is not as easy as getting the C6 parts and installing. I don't remember exactly what is involved but there was a thread on this awhile ago.

With a door or window open, the hatch just drops closed from about a foot and dosen't push the roof open
