I purchased my Cooksey last winter and it currently has 4,200 miles and runs great. I'm concerned about all the valve issues I'm reading about with the LS7's. I don't beat on the car and use it mostly for cruise nights and car shows.

I've talked to a couple of Chevrolet dealers in CT. and they are vaguely unaware of any problems with the LS7 engines.

Were there any known problems with the Cooksey engines during that brief production run ?

Added car # 121. BTW, the 2008 is not the last designated 427. The 2013 Chevrolet Corvette 427 Convertible would be the last if I am not mistaken.

Only consolation for me is I don't like the color. How many did they make? . BTW just purchased the 2015 Z06 automatic hardtop convertible. Wife doesn't like the stick shift
