Although I sold Bob the parts to do his at the time I have had my parts since then also and been threatening to stop by and spend some time with Bob and do my auto pull down on my Vert while there. Maybe we should steal Bob for half a day soon and take care of both of ours...

You know what that sounds like a good idea. That way it's done right! I might even see about getting the bolsters and lumbar support too lol

I just got the auto pull down latch assembly to try my conversion. I will have to see what is different about the GS convertible compared to the Z06. When I put my spoiler on I did notice a cut green wire behind the outboard tail light. I wonder if that has to do with the auto latch I don't have. I thought it was strange to have a loose wire going no where.

You have 2 loose wires back there, Green and Red, that is the radio antenna.

Hello,
I know this post is very old, but very interesting for me.
I already have all th parts but don't have found in this post exactly which wires from the original cables/plug have to be connected to the plug with 6 wires from the auto hatch down. I have only a plug without any cables.
Has someone a list or diaram for this? Or what which wire is in booth plugs? Or where to find?

Thanks to all
Felix

PS I have 2010 convertible, where it would be nice to have ;-)

Yes, this is a very old post and you probably should have started a new thread (according to forum rules). You many also have better luck in the General C6 forum, as this is the Z06 forum and there were no C6 Z06 convertibles - although the wiring is probably still the same for the auto pull down.

there is a “427 convertible” which by all means is a C6 Z06 convertible. Just without the aluminum frame

That is why they call it a 427 convertible - it is not a Z06 because it doesn't have the aluminum frame. A C6 Z06 has to have an aluminum frame.
