Default Tranny part number, please confirm

So my job today is to pull the trigger on a ZR1 tranny. I called my dealership and my normal parts guy, said hum too many times. We have always trusted him for the past 14 years. But it's a 4000 dollar tranny that he said "no way" to a return.

24237102 Is it right???

Randy

BTW, does anyone have the exact rpm drop inbetween gears?? Math only gets you so far.

The 24237102 is without skip shift and the 24237101 is WITH that option. He had it right.

they are both on backorder right now, but were available last week.

Also, it better not cost you $4k. It should be much cheaper then that or you need a new parts guy.

Randy, dealer cost on them is 3,388.46. No Availability yet on them. I imagine they will be on constraint for a while.

BTW this is Jeffvette I'll call you tomorrow

*fighting* so very hard... the urge... to buy more...

ZR1 transmission + now the LS9 crate engine.... the icing on the cake; I'll save that modification for special occasion.

I think this TR6060 should mount right up though. If not, a little fabrication here and there.
