Beehive for K&N Aircharger
I communicated with Jim Hall re: the above. I asked for an update status of producing one for the K&N. Alas and alack he replied that I was the only inquiry he had had. I find it difficult to believe that those with K&N filters aren't interested in the beehive for performance sake. Perhaps if there were more interest, Jim would make them available.

You gotta expect that response after all his bread and butter is the killer bee direct competitor to the K&N Aircharger... There is a forum member whos done on it on his search it and pm him sounds like a good mod.

Did you start with a BeeHive or did you fab your own out of ABS? If you fab'd your own were you able to make the bends without heating the material first?
TIA,

1. Buy a new Bee Hive
2. Make a cardboard template duplicating the top of the Bee Hive.
3. Place the cardboard template in the position that the Bee Hive would
occupy on your car.
4. Mark with sharpee and trim cardboard template to fit snug around
the K&N on the car.
5. Transpose the template to the Bee Hive, mark and cut Bee Hive with
aviation tin snips. Apply black car door edging around the inside
perimeter of area you just cut out of the Bee Hive.
6. Slot the mounting holes on the Behive to slide under the K&N.
notes: Be carefull on your cutting, use baby steps. Ya can't undo it
once you screw it up by cutting too much..
PM Carlos, he might be able to help everyone out in this direction too.

Former Vendor
We have Beehives templates for the K&N but you “must” purchase the Beehive from us!
Sorry for the stipulation; the template is FREE with a Beehive purchase! No pricing is available for template only.
Thanks,
Carlos

Quick question, once you make the cut, what do you border the cut with, and is it included. I would think it would be pretty tough to make a perfect cut.
Thanks.
Thanks.
