Manual Seat Rail on Drivers Side??
Has anyone done this? Will the passenger side rails work?
The rails will be attached to a Caravaggio Seat... trying to save a little weight and leave my stock seat unmolested.

Both seat frames are the same and are interchangeable from side to side, by looking at it(I have an 09 manual passenger and drivers power seat frame) it looks like the tracks would work with no problem. If you need I'll take a couple pics later, pm me if you want pics.

Which seats did you get. I bought a set of the GT Racing seats. Put them on the stock rails and they sit too high. Can not sit comfortably with a helmet on.

the passenger side is no better - did a track day with the cushions out to make it work
Please post if the seat rails work on the drivers side - I am going to modify my stock rails to get them lower and would like to switch to the manual on the drivers side also

Sorry to bring such an old post from the dead. I'm looking to lower my driver significantly to gain extra head clearance. What came of this mod?
