Default 2LZ confusion

I’ve been going through window stickers on GM BuyPower in quest for the "perfect" Z06. What I have found has me baffled, it appears that on earlier serial number ‘09s that 2LZ option is $1495 versus $3015 for later serial cars. For reference, 2LZ at the end of ’08 was $3045. Was this a special price package, part of the price increase the end of September, a change in 2LZ content, or what? Anybody know?
Cheers!

There was the $1520 price increase in Sept. for all models. Looks like that's what it is.

$1495 for a 2LZ package doesn't sound right though.

I agree, $1495 doesn't sound right, that is why I am asking. Examples from stickers that indicate this:
2LZ and chrome wheels - total options $3490
2LZ and gray wheels - total options $1890
2LZ, chrome wheels, and spoiler - total options $3895
2LZ, Nav, and gray wheels - total options $3640

And, for what it is worth, the base price on every one I've looked at so far (from SN# 101972 to 110802) is $73925

Well that starting msrp price would be right but you'll have to add a $850 destination charge to it as well. The prices with the options don't make any sense at all. I don't think any of the option packages have changed in price on the '09s, it was just the msrp that got the price increase. So the 2LZ package would start at $3015 + the options you choose. Nav alone is a $1700 option so those prices don't seem accurate at all. Are these cars you are looking at in different places or at one dealership?

Yes, in the semi-limited search I found about a dozen cars at several different dealers and more than one region. The only common thread was all were earlier serial number cars and none had individual option prices listed, only the option total price. Subtracting the prices for the other options in every case $1495 is what is left over for 2LZ.

Ah, interesting, I think you just solved it. GM is apparently juggling the numbers within the sticker to downplay the price increase. Here are the numbers off a “window sticker” on a similarly equipped earlier SN car than yours (# 101729).

2009 Corvette Z06 - Blade Silver / Black Interior
Standard vehicle price - $73925.00
2LZ Equipment Group
Navigation
Spider design Chrome wheels
Total Options - $5240.00
Total Vehicle & Options - $79165.00
Destination Charge - $850.00
Total Vehicle Price / MSRP - $80015.00 (no 33 cents)

Just for grins I looked up GMS on this car - $69134.33, close enough. Mystery solved.

Just go to www.cars.com they break the prices down for each option, MSRP and Invoice. It's up to date, the prices in there matched what I was told at the NCM when I picked up the car and the window sticker for my car.
