New Poster Brewing?
There has been a lot of interest in a new poster of the engine builders at Wixom Performance Build Center. Well we may finally be seeing some action toward this goal.
Yesterday we had a GM photographer in house following an LS9 "Build Your Own Engine" build. While here the photographer took some new photos to use for a poster. There were a few builders not present so a follow up shoot will have to be done. But this does look like a good development. Sometimes whining does pay off!

LS9 Proudly built by America's best - Rick Dadd.
In case you were not aware Rick was recently featured in a article by Corvette Magazine, December 2010, detailing the build of an LS9.
2011 ZR1 # 800381
Us ZR1 owners sure would like to have a build sheet or a picture of our engine builders, signed of course.
Thank you sir for a fantastic engine. May God speed your journeys through life.

Ho-ho-ho and a ZR1?
Pretty quiet on this thread....I hope Santa delivers a few ZR1's so we can get some fresh postings!
Anybody gonna buy a Corvette for your sweetie? Or maybe some bling accessories?

Not Good Vibrations?
Wonder why wheel balance is still such a bugaboo? I recently bought some tires (not for a Vette) and had to take them back for rebalance. I was getting bad vibration starting about 70. It's a lot better 2nd time around. Hope you can get yours fixed too!

I'll bet JD would do a fine job at balancing wheels, although being a Harley guy he probably likes a little good vibration. He's pretty handy when it comes to working with some of our machining equipment (we make many of our fixtures and tools in house). And he was a diemaker at one time so he has a good eye for getting things right.
