Default Jetstream Blue or Black?

For an equally priced and equally equipped ZR1 with 3ZR, Chrome Wheels and Ebony Leather, which color (Jetstream Blue or Black) is more desireable and will have a stronger future market value? Are either of these two colors commanding a higher price in today's resale market?

Black has long been the most popular Vette color-- roughly 1/4 of all Vettes produced. But for the ZR1, JSB was the introductory color and now tied in with the "Blue Devil' nickname. Plus I think the JSB compliments the CF colored roof better than black or CG.

I'm biased of course-- JSB4MME!

A black sportcar much less a black ZR1 just looks sinister, evil in the vein of the original Undertaker from WWF. I can just hear the bell ringing as a black ZR1 pulls up. Bong Bong Bong. Death knell served to all. Can you tell I like it in black I figure JSB will be rarer than black as well so if your choice has that as a factor sounds like JSB is the color for you.

I have a JSB ZR1 diecast, but if I had a full sized one it would be black.

Although black requires more labor to keep it nice, I'd guess re-sale is better than JSB.

Nothing like a black Corvette, no matter what model.

JSB costs extra, black is a dime a dozen. The blue matches everything besides I like red, but had to go blue for the ZR1.

All future values will depend on total production for the ZR1 before its discontinued. The Blue will definitely be rarer as of current production numbers.

It’s all in the image you want. Black is more mysterious and masculine while JSB is more casual and even your significant other would look hot in it. I have a black car so I went with blue to change it up some.

I prefer black. However, I do like blue, but I just don't like the shade of blue that "Jet stream blue" is. Too bad GM didn't do the ZR1 in the old Admiral Blue that used to be on the vette.

I agree with your assessment. JSB looks great in the photo shoots / cloudy conditions, however does not look as good in the sun (too bright). I like the shade of Lemans Blue on the #1 auctioned at Barrett Jackson.

I would prefer JSB on the ZR1 with all the other blue accents...I also happen to like Cyber Gray with the blue accents too

Here is a picture of Dave Ressler's ZR1 in La Mans Blue. (the million dollar Barret Jackson ZR1)

Most likely atomic orange or blade silver will be the lowest 09 ZR1 color.

My Z06 is Lemans Blue, love the color. JSB is quite bright in the sun, but it does look nice under low light.

Black is much better, although the stupid hood looks a little better with blue.
What's up with the LMB ZR1 not having the CF splitter or rockers?
