Default Adding another 10 to 14 HP to our E85 Build

Meziere 55gpm Electric Water Pump- ORDER

Innovative design makes for an easy installation. Unbolt your factory pump and bolt on an easy 11-14 horsepower with our street style water pump. An idler is incorporated onto the pump so your belt routing remains in its stock configuration. American made with quality far superior to any other performance aftermarket company, we build our water pumps with pride right here in the USA. Don't be mislead by inflated flow numbers and competitors' outlandish claims. Our 300 series pumps move more water and produce more pressure than any other electric pump on the market. That means better protection for your high horsepower, high demand engine! Our 2 year, unlimited mileage guarantee and full satisfaction money back guarantee should convince you that buying Meziere is buying value!
This water pump model features:

* Fits GM LS-1 through LS7 engines
* Idler design lets you keep all of your serpentine belt driven accessories
* Suitable for street or drag strip use – 3000+ hour life expectancy
* Show quality blue anodized finish
* Standard motor provides 55 gallons per minute free flow rating
* Ports provided for heater and bypass
* Outlet fitting, heater and bypass fitting included
* Driver's or passenger's side lower hose connection
* Stainless steel large diameter main shaft with high performance ceramic seal
* Alternate inlet fittings available

Technical Specifications:

* Finishing The System: This pump is supplied complete with gaskets, hardware and fittings. No additional items should be necessary.
* Amperage draw: Under normal use the pump will draw 11-12 amps.
* Overall Height Dimension: The standard pump is 7.80" long from the mounting surface to the tip of the pump.
* Pump Weight: This application weighs 14.9 lbs.
* 16 volt systems: When purchasing a pump for a 16 volt system we recommend the 16 volt optional motor on our pump. The 12 volt pump will work for limited use applications.

Accessories for LS-X:
Relay Wiring Kit upgrade WIK346

This pump made 10 RWHP on our 2002 Z06 in 2003.

They talk and do the test to 6500 RPM. Are they good at least to 7300 RPM on the LS7 ? That is where I shift !!

Later,
Sébastien

The electric water pumps run an idler gear, which spins to whatever rpm you want to venture to.

They are soon coming out with a high performance mechanical LS style unit for very high horsepower setups.

By the way, thanks for the link. Halltech did its own testing back in 2000 or 01 and found 11 RWHP from this pump. Drove our test vehicle from CA to NY and back without any problems, and this was our Twin Turbo setup. The new 55 gpm pumps will Kick ***!

That REALLY needs a red tensioner.

Blue in our case. We have a unit coming that we might get to you in time for the final chassis dyno.

Are you going to be driving it this weekend? Impressions!

Thanks! Parasitic drag on the motor is well know by folks that run their AC. This unit provides better engine cooling, and adds 13 HP to boot.

I love the review and I would love to put one on my car but how come not many people jumped on this and reported?. I think is a great mod if this is what it really advetizes, it will even improve your gas mileage but again how come I don't see many people talking about it?

Skepticism. Wait until Katech dynos it. They will have our unit tomorrow. We are also testing the new PulStar Plugs and two more mods that have yet to be released by Katech.

Our car will be at the Autobahn in Joliet in May.

^^ Thank you for your fast response. I also wonder why we don't see many advertizing on pulleys for the C6 Z06. I see tons of other manufacturers running them on other cars. Anything that has less rotational mass should benefit the Z06 wouldn't?

I guess the people like the cheaper power route, why spend $1000 plus on a water pump if you can get an air filter and make more power....
The price of these electrioc pumps obviously is also dictating what the people want to buy as far is other mods for less price..

Please keep us update it, I am very interested on doing a water pump since I already have most of the bolt ons. Thank!
