ZMAX Dragway Street Race Night anyone???
Tomorrow night (April 8th) Zmax Dragway in charlotte, NC is having the 2nd Street Race Night. I am taking the Z to see what she will run down the concrete 1/4 mile at the "bellagio of dragstrips". Anyone else?
Right now Im on the runcraps, next week the NT05's will be here and we will see how my 60ft times change
It is one heck of a strip....4 lanes, all concrete!

I had planned to take something out there tomorrow night....but with the cold temps here now I'm afraid it would be a waste of time.
High tomorrow is only 62 and then down in the 40's tomorrow night.Not conducive to good traction,but I'll probably come out to see the action.
It's less than a mile from my office,we can hear the cars plainly when they're practicing.

Well it was an interesting night...needless to say traction on the bald stock tires was laughable. On my first 2 runs i managed to acheive minimal traction in second gear , third gear hooked up with a progressive ease on the gas. At this point it was about 60*.
60 ft --2.5
1/4 --12.2
mph --126.4
Later on the temps dropped another 15-20* and traction was no longer achievable in any gear. Hopefully a lil warmer weather and my NT05's will help with traction.
And of course my main issue.....THE DRIVER MOD
