Awesome Line Lock Kit..**pics**
Earlier this year, I bought a custom Line Loc kit from forum vendor RSD. We installed it on my C6Z and I could not be happier. I was looking around for a kit, but all the ones I found were somewhat universal and required adapters and fitting that could leak or be over tightened. I was nervous about having to adapt brake lines with fittings to a line going to the solenoid.
Steve and Robert from RSD suggested I take a look at their kit. I am glad I did because this thing works great. The kit is specifically made for our cars and requires no cutting of lines or using adapters. Everything is included for a perfect install and it is as clean as you can get. Braided lines, solenoid, wire splice for the switch and all. My install took a little over an hour and was very straight forward if you know what you are doing. The hardest part was bleeding the front brakes after we installed the kit.
For those that drag race on occasion or every weekend, this is a must. It allows for effortless burnouts and no 3 pedal shuffle to hold the car in one place. Just apply the brakes, push the button, release the brakes and do a burnout like a Prostock car. There is virtually no wear on rear diff clutches, rear brakes or transmission parts since there is no resistance from holding the rear brakes on like in a conventional burnout.
I have reduced my 60 foot times by .25 seconds and ET's by .5 seconds since the Line Loc install just from properly heating the tires up. I highly recommend this kit to everyone and it makes me feel good to buy a kit from a local forum vendor.
Here is a quick pic of the kit and what it looks like installed. The solenoid tucks away under the master cyl and uses all the factory mounting holes so there is no drilling or cutting.
Here is a link to a for sale post they have going.
