Fantastic looking seats. Remind me of the ones on the 599. Can you double check with Caravaggio on the side airbags please? I called them a few months and a few weeks ago to ask and they told me both times that the only way to get functioning side airbags was to re-cover the stock seats as none of their seats, incuding the GT seats, came with side airbags.
I'm big on side impact protection because I've seen the data on just how dangerous those crashes are. Anyway, let me know what they tell you and thanks in advance.

I want an entire wrap like MJ with alcantara in mix of yellow and black for my car but I think I will try and hit a local shop for that. Someone who is doing show car builds for the hotrods.
Also what seats does Caravaggio use? Recaro or Sparco and if either then which particular model? Does anyone know?
The seat below is Sparco Roadster seats. Are these the same as Caravaggio?

You also get to choose exactly what kind of leather/alcantara/stitching color of your preference.
If I'm not mistaken, you need aftermarket seat crades for the Sparco's to fit in a C5 or C6 which adds to the price of the Sparco's.
You'll find once you add it all up, the Caravaggio seats aren't that much more.

And to answer the OP's inquiry, here's one John did in a C5.
Here's one in my C5 Widebody.
Anything you can think of he can do.
This interior in my C6Z was designed by John himself.
p.s. My C6Z's for sale in the C6 For Sale Section (Shameless plug)

Your interior is to die for, absolutely amazing. I would love to get something similar in all alcantara. Only if your car was yellow and state side, it would be mine, [raising voice, echoing] mine...
Yours is one of the best interiors in any car, period. I love yours and MJ's blue alcantara..They are just plain sick..

Correct me if I am wrong but thought that your interior was 25k not 17.5k.

So it would have been about 17K US, maybe a bit more with the visors and roofliner.
I got to find a cure for this disease I have, cuz it's costing me a small fortune.
It's called modvetteitis.
Just love to mod.
Once it's all done, I loose interest in the car, and want to start the next project.
Like they say, it's the journey, not the destination.
Next, well I've been mulling the idea of a GTM if the ZR1 doesn't do it for me.

John went above and beyond with this interior, he did the visors and roof liner, and when I said 25K, that was Canadian funds.

Getting the dash out is not hard...just quite a few steps. It actually comes out pretty easily. I did it by myself. As to putting it back in...I haven't gotten that far but seems like the most troublesome thing would be making sure all the wire harnesses are fed through properly and everything properly lined up. Once that's done, just a matter of bolting everything back in place.
