Default Looking to differentiate my Z from others...

I have a 2009 black Z06 and am trying to go for a look that is different than your average Z. The windows are tinted 35% and I have the 3M clear bra and BB Fusion exhaust. I am thinking about lowering the car about an 1" or so, slapping on some 20/20 Mesh 8s, and going with a different hood. Any pics of similar setups would be great. Anyone with pictures of after-market hoods would be a big help. I guess if I am going to go with a different hood I might as well make it supercharger friendly just in case I want to mod after the warranty is over. P.S. I am hoping to get the wheels, rubber, hood (painted installed) for no more than $6-$7K. Thanks.

P.S. - Mods can you please delete under the C6 general sectiosn -- Thanks.

If you're looking to differentiate the best way to do so is with wheels. The second is with body parts. Hood, spoiler, splitter, side skirts, etc. Check out our new spoiler and side skirts.

black out all the lights, lower on stock bolts, add some zr1 skirts, and a mcm hood and you'll be golden. If you do wheels, stay within the stock parameters, or youll be in trouble with any drive train warranty issues

Jeez...how many black C6 Z's run around in your area? I agree with the above replies or, you can always wash it with dirt and hang dice on the rear view.....just a thought.

Actually I see almost no other black Z06s -- except screen name "weaponsgradetorque" who lives about a mile from me. He has the LPE 660 package so he is a little different That being said, I have the spider wheels painted -- actually prefer them over chrome, so I am a bit different. I am looking for that clean look that says -- wow that looks factory, but I have never seen anything like that before. I think I can accomplish that with lowering the car and going different hood and wheels. I guess I shouild keep them 19/18 with stock run flats to avoid any warranty issies?

wheels for sure. I know the black wheels on a black Z is the norm on the forum, but no one around my town has anything like it.

If you want to seperate yourself from the crowd - just get the Callaway package installed... either the SC580 package or the Signature package. www.callawaycars.com.
That should do the trick!

While I agree...the OP said 6-7k budget. Not really the range of a Callaway supercharged Z06.

I like the dice idea, then maybe a brahma bull sticker on the door.....that would be different and get attention!

I will be taking my custom CCW SP16s of my car next week I believe. If you're interested I'll get more pictures.

I'm asking $2K + shipping.

I don't see very many others with the MCM carbon hoods around town.

Obviously not a Z, but it is lowered and has the MCM hood - and a few other goodies.
