Default 2010 ZR-1 0-60ft with LC?

What is the 0-60 of the ZR-1 with launch control? Any numbers. I saw the video on the Z06 pulling a 3.65.

I've got 490 more miles and then we'll see what this launch control will do.

From what I understand... slower then what a good driver can do on his own.

It will be slower with LC since GM's version of Launch Control doesn't modulate the clutch. Good drivers do this to achieve best times.

I meant that the computerized LC from other manufacturers also controls the release of the clutch, not just the application of throttle. On many higher-end cars, including Ferrari, the implementation of LC controls both the clutch and throttle.

In order to get the fastest launches, good drivers will slip the clutch in a controlled manner. Just the right amount and you'll get a great launch. Too much slippage and the clutch will overheat, not enough and the engine will bog.

Good drivers know just the right amount and control the release of the clutch, i.e. "modulate" the clutch pedal, in order to do this manually. With more sophisticated LC systems, the electronics do this for the driver.

Hope that helps.

I believe this is accomplished with the auto/manual gearboxes and DSG that don't have a manual clutch.

Correct - Just wanted to make the point about LC from GM not modulating the clutch -- that part is still up to the driver.
