Default Pics of lowered C6Z's please!

I want to lower my Z to the stock bolt max and I would love to see either before and after photos or ride height AFTER lowering it with stock bolts. Thanks everyone, is it spring yet?

How many turns did you get out of the rear bolts? Did you cut the bushings down?
I lowered mine on the stock bolts and was only able to get 2 1/2 turns CC on the stock bolts. Yes, I jacked up the spring a bit. Is 2 1/2 turns on the rear bolts normal?

Thanks
Scott S.

I bought the entire black headlight assemblies. I know the Spekter (sp) Works sells the CF headlights. but they are a little pricey.

Here is a pic of a buddies Z06 with their CF lights.

I didn't cut the bushings. And thats what I did ... jacked the spring so the bushing wasn't touching at all. 2.5 seems about right for what I got in the rear. Got a lot more in the front. I basically turned all of them as far down as them would go then drove it around for a day. It measured out perfectly side to side when done. I think the 19/20 combo makes it look lower than it might be. But having said that, I couldn't possibly go any lower. The front splitter is already only 3 inches off the ground.

Oh and one more thing I noticed. A 25,000 miles bushing looks nothing like a 2,500 miles bushing. I think as you drive these bushing wear.

Scuba...

With no bushings removed? If so that's the lowest I have seen with just turning the bolts...

Aaahhhhh, did all of you have your cars corner weighted?? OMG if you didn't your all going to die because now your suspension isn't as GM designed it and the geometry is off and if you floor the car it will automatically shoot you into the nearest tree!!!

Sorry for the rant, but I just find it funny that all of the people bitching in my old thread -> http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-z...e-to-side.html are always absent in 99% of all other "lowering" threads.

So, all those with lowered cars....be prepared for impending death/doom. FWIW, here is mine lowered

My corner weights and suspension are set. I know how important both are.
