I don't even think about such things. 43k miles and still ticking.

Mine is holding up as well, but I do have a complaint with the rear tires. For some reason, with 8,000 miles on them they have very little tread left and need replacing. I think the problem is intended acceleration

You realize you paid $20k extra for that nano second when I can go buy a GS and slap on a blower and be only a fraction of a nano second behind you. Then I'll quit drinking, drop 30lbs, and be within 150lbs of Z06 weight. Look out!

Mine didn't blow up but there is a ticking sound. I guess it could be the oil sump pump gasket TSB

Don't GS owners have their own forum page?

Actually, I paid less than $10K extra... You're free to spend $7K+ on a blower, and I'm happy for you if you quit drinking and lose weight, but you'll still always wish you had my car, and I'll never wish I had yours...

I paid less for our Z06 then a new GS would be, even way below MSRP.

yes, darton dry. it was later proven to be a QC issue with darton.

vendor/installer isn't important other than that he redid the block with M.I.D. liners at no charge.
