I agree with those that have no problems
I have 2 - one is a 2007 with 40k miles and not a single issue. The other is an '08 with 5K and not a problem with it either. Keep the Mobil ! fresh and let em rip. The LS7 rocks

Just checked this thread...Sorry guys...I didn't think you were actually taking me seriously with all the facetiousness in my tone. As PatriotZ said, I am a long time Z guy. The GS bs just cracks me up.

hope Gm ( A.K.A. goverment motors) sells a ton of GS's. because IF they sell back their 60.8% share of GM to private investors via an IPO, I'd like to keep a future vette purchase an option.
Otherwise. My 2007 Denali XL and my 2008 JSB C6Z wil be the last NEW GM vehicles I'll ever buy.
In the meantime, I'm buying a Ford Tow vehicle when the time comes...never thought I'd say that, but you have to put your money where your mouth is sooner or later. Otherwise, you are a follower.....

I have been trying hard to kill mine looking for an excuse to put an 8L in. No matter what I do the LS7 will not die. Now with 560rwhp all motor, 700/700 on NOS and many track days on greater than 100 degree heat it is still going and going and going

Mine hasn't blown up yet either, but they replaced my Flux Capacitor when they did the recall. Now go find some wood to knock on.

Well at 96,000 miles was sitting at light and looked down to see zero oil pressure. First thought was awesome luck new motor under warranty within 4K to go. Bummer, just an oil pressure-sending unit, which by the way was the first failure of the car. So I thought I’d be proactive and change plugs, utter waste of money they looked perfect, even at the 100K mark. So I again thought to be proactive and change the clutch, 500hp motor hotrod car got to be bad, wrong again clutch looked fine and was good for many more miles. Another interesting thing is I never changed the clutch fluid in 100K miles without a single clutch hang up. So much for the forum experts and the scourge of our time, clutch dust. Currently at 102,784 miles and all is well, damn.

Let us know how that Ford turns out. The new Diesels are garbage and they don't have the warranty coverage GM does. I know a few Ford Super Duty owners that swear they will never buy another after they've owned a '07-'09 Powerstroke.

I guess If I buy a cummins at least I'm supporting my fathers UAW retirement fund since they own the majority share of chrysler now. My brother has 130K miles on his HD with only a replacement of the water pump.
My point is...as long as they are Goverment Motors Corporation, they have lost a buyer. Even if I'm buying a "percieved" lesser product, At least I'm supporting the Free market and its only a metter of time until the superior product prevales with buyers. Unless, of course, the Goverment extends warranties to 200K and gives MASSIVE incentives.
They have proven time and again you don't have to make money to be in buisness. I'E.

Hey Dreamin'. Yep, that was a bone stock LS2, but let's not forget that there was another, yes ANOTHER LS7 failure at the track last weekend. Correct me if I'm wrong, but haven't we seen at least one LS7 failure every single track weekend we've both been to since last May? Yep, everything's A-OK!
