New Personal Best. 10.59 **video included**
Friday night we took the Z06 out to Test and Tune at Sac. The conditions started to get nice after the sun went down and the track prep was pretty good. I had a handfull of mid 10 second passes and Carrie got her first 10. This was her first time out with the new clutch and the DR's so I know she will get it down a few more tenths.
How many women do you know that can run 10's in anything, let alone a 6 speed Corvette street car? I am proud of my Race Chick making it onto the fast list. BTW, She is "C6Z Chick "on here
The 5 best runs I had were 10.59, 10.61, 10.64, 10.73 and 10.75 with two 60 foot times of 1.58 back to back and a couple 1.63's and 1.64's. I am very happy with the car and the new Nitto DR's. The Katech LS9x ZR1 clutch is working great as well. I think the car could have been a little faster later in the night, but the track started to get cold and Carrie and I were the only ones left that were still running at 9:45-10:00 PM.
Here is my time slip and video.
Here is the video.
And here is the video of her 11.0 run. I missed the 10.95 run because I was up in the stands talking to her grandparents.

4,200 RPM with a slight slip. It is the Katech LS9x ZR1 setup. We have been installing them here at the shop and I had to try one. The stock clutch lasted me a while, but it was starting to give me issues, even on street tires.
We made 14 runs that night and it never gave me a hint of trouble. I have about 25 passes on it along with about 1,500 street miles and a few Auto-X's without any problems.

Yep the NT05R's are hooking nice. I have been more consistant on them over any other tire I have ran on any other car.
It trapped a couple 135's on other runs, but they were .1-.2 slower ET's.

Nice job Rich and Carrie!!!...
Hey Carrie, you're a better driver than most of us, including me...
The car seems to be hooking perfectly, you guys have it down!!!
