I know some of you guys love the black on yellow thing but I just had to try this! I got a close buddy that manages a body shop and this cost me nothing to do so we gave it a shot last weekend. These wheels were black with a polished lip but I thought I would try a different look so we sanded the black and painted them bright silver and left the lip polished......I can always go back to black later, all in Sunday afternoon we sanded, taped, mixed paint, painted and put 3 coats of clear on the wheels......what do you guys think, go back black or leave them for a while? Here's a few crappy pics!!

Thanks a bunch.......I was hoping the first response I got wouldn't be "you screwed up" We were gonna go comp grey but just thought we would try bright silver first. They actually turned out really good. Looks like I bought them this way......my buddy is an awesome painter and prep guy! All I have invested is about 6 hrs of a Sun afternoon. Not bad i'd say!! Changed the whole look of the car.

I like the silver 1000% better than black wheels on VY. Shows the detail of the wheels much better as it should for the coin spent on them.

Thanks for all the positive feedback guys! I was really on the fence about black wheels on a yellow car when I first bought them. Black wheels look awesome on a black car but I just couldn't help but wonder what these wheels would look like in silver. Now I know and since you guys like them better, this is how they will stay for a while! Thanks again for all the feedback......you guys always help me with all my Z changes!!

Here you go! I thought they looked ok black but I think like a few others have said the silver lets you see the design of the wheel more.

I like the gray much better than the black. The black looked cheap and ricer. The gray looks really great.

Much better looking. I am still debating between a satin black or brushed silver for an LMB. I know I do not like the stock chrome and I don't want a gloss black. Those look pretty sweet, good call.
