I Pulled The Trigger. 2010 ZR1 Inside.
First off, many thanks to all on the forum who helped me make the decision. You were all a great help.
This past weekend, I traded in my Atomic Orange 2009 Z06 and my 2010 Mustang GT500 Shelby. I left with a Cyber Grey 2010 ZR1 3ZR. What a car. There is really nothing that I have ever driven that is in the class of this beast. With only 5 miles on the odometer, I was very nice to her. But this thing just gets it done.
Having all three levels of a corvette in the last few years, has really allowed me to see just how much car this is. I traded my 2008 3LT coupe on my 2010 Grand Sport Coupe. And owned both the Z06 and the GS at the same time. Currently I have the 2010 GS and 2010 ZR1. They offset each other perfect. The GS is great when I want to cruise with the top off, and take the wife for a nice ride. The ZR1 is great when I want to show off a little, and just pust the car around. It will fill the void of the Z06/GT500 and then some.
The ride is much better on the ZR1 than the Z06 and GS. That F55 really works. The new tires seem to be much more quiet. And the exhaust with the M2W is amazing. The LS9 does not sound like the LS3 at wide open. The ZR1 sounds like a super car.
Now.... The pictures...
The trades

That is all for now...

My other Vette and cool toys are in my big garage. But I keep her bug in the garage to keep the top in good shape. Plus its nice for her not to have to go outside if its raining.
Thanks to all. I can't wait to go home and wash it again.

Those first couple days of ZR1 ownership.....ahhh those were the best of times!!
After 60 days have past.....my car still talks to me when I open the garage. It just wants to go out and play, so I allow it.
I just love the full throttle song pulling through the first four gears nearing 160MPH. (On an approved test track of course) The thing just pulls steady with smooth firm torque!!

Congrats! These cars are absolutely amazing! I took mine over 500 mile break in yesterday and really punched it on an on-ramp on 495. Holy crap! I was in 3rd and then went to 4th. In about 2 seconds I went from 50 to 124 mph! I haven't had such an exhilarating experience in a long, long time. Man on man. Better than sex! Sorta....
