Default Please Help!

2011 w/carbon & performance options.

Wheels - 285/30ZR19 87Y; 335/35ZR20

Problem - Both of my front rims have been scratched on the inside of the rim. See pics, looks like a rock or something got stuck between the rotor and rim and gouged/scratched the inside.

Has anyone else had this problem?

How can I fix this???

I only drive on paved roads, not sure how this happened or how to fix it?

Should I take it to the dealer?

GM Gunmetal Metalic: color code 87 or WA9243; touch up bottle or spray can. Can be purchased at your local PEP Boys or Chevy dealer. You will have to pull the wheels, clean the barrels and then paint.

I would pull the wheel ( be very careful not to hit the rotor) clean and touch up with a brush.

I wouldn't break the tire down unless I absolutely had to.... And you dont

normally i would say dont sweat it cause the barrells will be black with brake dust in a week or so...but I am curious how the ceramic brakes are for dust? when i changed my tires i cleaned the barrells spotless..and it looked great for maybe a week if that...then they were just dull grey with dust.
But if it really bugs you just get your fingers in there and clean the spot around it and then use touch up paint..no one will ever notice.

It looks like you have more damage to the finish on the wheels ... Be careful when you pull the wheel to not contact the rotor. Use the padding you recieved with the car for the rotors to protect the, while the wheel is off . I would fix all of the blemishes while I was at it.....
I have a 11 Z07 carbon custom and my rims do not show this wear

Ceramics do not have this problem

Thanks for all the info. I was most curios on matching the color correctly!

I was debating pulling all the wheels to clean them anyway, but I have to buy a jack.

I imagine there is a special low clearance jack I can purchase to do this?

Whoever took the wheels off or put them on let them rest on the top of the rotor scratching the wheels.
