Default Anyone Change their 06-10 Z06 hpipe to Xpipe ?

Anyone here do it...Weather it was a custom made x pipe or the Zr1 replacement..I know it will prolly not add any power but more for sound than anything..

Thanks in advance

I bought one from a forum member. It had a Magnaflow x section welded in very nicely. It smoothed out the sound and sounds really good with my Corsa cat-back.

THere are several members that have gone the complete OEM ZR1 exhaust route.
I will be installing my ZR1 X-Pipe and mufflers over the weekend.
I'll let you know how it works out.

Corsa X-Pipe on mine, with the rest of the system stock (except for the muffler mod). No welding necessary, just unbolt the H-Pipe and bolt up the X-pipe.

Yes, cam, headers, hi-flow cats, x-pipe and exhaust mod with mild-2-wild(open 99% of the time). I think the Z sounds great.

Wasn't aware there was a 3rd system for the Z06/ZR1. I have the LS7, Axle-Back, Twin Pro-Series 4.0 Tips - #14164, with offroad pipe and kooks LTs. Let me know if you want me to video it.

I know they make the Xtreme for the C5 and C6, but I didnt think that the setup for the Z06 would be so much different. I still dont see anybody or hear of anybody using it. IDK, but yeah, upload a vid I would definitely like to hear it.

Corsa Xtreme on a base C6, but, i have never heard one on a Z, let alone with no cats and lts

I'm curious as to whether the X pipe helps the performance(torque or horsepower) over the stock H pipe with the rest of the stock Z06 exhaust system intact.

Corsa x-pipe with cats here...definitely smoothed the tone - then added a cam and it changed entirely again.

so negligible that everyone would be arguing over statistical variation of the dyno's used.

I pulled a muscle in my lower back the week the exhaust arrived, so I was down for almost a month...never knew how debilitating that injury was

This weekend is when I can finally work on the car

Jason from Katech said they did an A-B dyno test and picked up 12 horsepower going to the X pipe.
