2011 USB connectivity
The 2011 Zo6's (and other models) have the USB/audio jack in the center console. How is this system operated and would it be posssilbe to retrofit it into older models? I know there is the PAL but I like the clean install and USB option of the factory item

I read a post a while back about someone's IPOD over-heating due to transmission-tunnel heat. Has 2011 fixed the problem by moving the connection area so the IPOD is not exposed? This would save some $$ because if so, I feel no need to buy the 6-disk setup when I can just plug an IPOD in and have a lot more.
