To 1ZR or 3ZR is the question!!
I'm looking at getting a ZR1. I'm just trying to figure if the 3ZR is worth the extra 10k over the 1ZR. I would appreciate any info.

I think the adjustable steering wheel & leather upholstery is nice but the Corvette nav system leaves a lot to be desired & one would be better off going to a Kenwood garmin based unit. So in my opinion other than resale value it's not worth it.

That's how I feel. If it was my DD I would feel different as well.

You'll get most, if not all, of the 3ZR package back at resale, so why not have the goodies while you own it?
I do agree that the Nav blows though. My '08 Yukon Denali Nav is better and it sucks too.

What are you gonna do with it???
If you're going to gut it turn it into a race car, get a 1ZR.
I drive mine everyday, and I take it on long road trips. I want it to be as comfortable as possible when I go on a long trip.
Among other things, the 1Zr DOES NOT have:
So, I added some high trim level C6 seats to the Z06 to get those items that, IMHO, should be in a GT road car where you're going to see some long hours sitting in the seats.
My Z06 also sees the track, but when I drive it 600 miles to the VIR HPDE my wife and I are very comfortable getting there and back.
If I were not driving my car often, or if I were going to turn it into a race car, I might want it stripped down.
But, both my cars are GT road cars, and I want the features that will keep me comfortable when driving long distances, as well as around town.
I LOVE the C6 nav and its interface with the HUD!!! It's very capable if you learn how to use it. I have Sunset Orange Creations "Nav Commander" so my wife can input data while driving. I do find it easier while we're driving to do quick searches for restaurants and other POI's on my iPhone.
I like a fully featured car for my purposes, but YMMV!!!

- adjustable lumbar support and side bolsters either side
- power passenger seat
- memory seat/mirror/radio settings
- telescoping steering column
- universal home remote

I believe it to be what's said earlier the 1ZR is better suited for mostly used track car.As for me 3ZR is better suited for my needs as I rarely take it to the track and prefer the luxuries.

if you plan on keeping the car a long time go with the 1zr. a few Less doodads to go wrong, and in the very long run the 1zr "might" be worth more because there will be less of them made. i have seen barret jackson auctions where the lessor optioned cars bring more money. And the additional leather bits while nice do not seem to be much of a differentiator. (IMO)
