edit: I just read the OP offered up his apology for the name calling.....IMO it a dead subject....so the no name calling really should be practiced here...tim

I wouldn't hesitate to drive my 07 Z06 to Cape Horn.

Go hire a private detective and follow me around for 365 days and know all of my habits and then catch me bribing a service advisor. You guys are hilarious thinking these advisors care about yor car. I guarantee your level of service would go up a 100 fold if you gave him a 20 and simply said "I really appreciate what your doing for my baby."
yea and imagine what your service advisor could so for the folks that actually suck on his pole! get free oil changes and everything!
i am not so sure i would want to follow you around anywhere, there are some night clubs i won't go into!

are you f-ing kidding me? do you really think if everyone kissed ther service advisors *** they would get freebies?
maybe your service advisor just "likes" you!

Why are you bringing up a 5 year old thread (it's against forum rules). If you have a question about an extended warranty, start a new thread.

Default Blown C6 Z06 LS7

I bought my Z06 with 21k and the engine blew tonight with 25k. I heard some lifter clicking yesterday but seemed to be minimal and disappear at highway speeds. Did a burnout tonight and at about 6800 rpm engine blew. Probably will have dealer put a new engine with warranty, and get ready for another one at 36k.

Sorry to hear about your motor blowing. So many on here think it's not a serious issue and some know it " is " a serious issue. Anyone who has not had their heads addressed, I hope this never happens to you but you are being foolish to ignore it.

Glad you have a warranty.

You should start your own thread with all pertinent information for the rest of us to look at.

Hopefully they cover the motor replacement...depending on the warranty. Some will, some won't.

Posting on the internet of a redline burn out is a sure way of getting sympathy and GM help. I tried buying warranty last year for my 07/Z06, no takers, regular vette yes, Z06 no, wonder why?
