5 inches of sleet/ice/snow here in Dallas has slowed u down a little this week. Below are photos of the progress so far. We’ve taken photos of the kit from a few different angles to show the tight clearances underneath the car that APS designers had to work with when designing this kit. Stay tuned for more progress pictures soon:

Some photos from the engine bay:

Some better shots of the ceramic coated exhaust manifold:

And the intercoolers in place:

A few pictures of us making custom mounting brackets to mount Spal dual fans on the stock radiator (radiator in pictures is a core just being used for mock up). A nice cooling upgrade we've found.

And here’s what’s remains left to install.

We finished up the install of the twin turbo kit, and Tony has picked up the car. We imagine he’s out driving in the great weather we have had. Here are the last pictures we took after the installation was complete. You will notice that the charge pipe has been slightly modified. After discussing with Tony and receiving his approval, we sanded down the lettering and black coating and had the charge pipe painted body color to emphasize it in the engine bay, and also to tie in better with painted intake manifold cover. We also had some of the surrounding panels for the intercoolers powdercoated black, so they didn’t take attention away from some of the other details under the hood.

The painted charge pipe:

The pieces we powdercoated black can be seen on the left of this photo:

Slightly over-exposed, but hopefully you can see some detail in the darker areas:

Everything all tidied up underneath:

Modified factory H-pipe with the APS flanges:

Below is an overlay of the baseline dyno and the TT dyno, showing a healthy 174 whp / 141 trq gain over the baseline. Keep in mind, the baseline dyno had an intake and longtube headers. On a stock ZO6, our APS install would give you almost a 200whp gain, with stock like driveability, a great torque curve, and the ability to grow to 1000+ whp with a built motor and fuel system.

Uncorrected dyno chart:

And finally a quick video of Tony’s car on the dyno: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eoyjDbCv4oo

We would just like to thank Tony again for giving us the opportunity to install this kit on his car. We know Tony had the choice to take his vehicle to any one of the several shops in the DFW metroplex that work on Corvette’s, and he trusted us to work our magic on his beautiful car. We hope you enjoy your new found power, and remember we are just a phone call away if you need us.

For anyone else interested in one of the two remaining APS twin turbo kits, call us at the shop so we can schedule a date to install it.

Wow, that looked like a mighty tight fit. Mind if I ask how many hours it took to get it all in there?

Thanks, Man. Yes...DP did a great job on it.

Also, thank you for the compliments on the car. I kept it entirely stock for 3 years, but have been finding new ways to make it a bit unique. Also, it's more fun to drive than ever!

X pipe only makes a power difference in a naturally aspirated situation. After the turbos you just need to get it out with the least restriction possible!
We wanted to share photos of one of our latest builds with the forum as it progresses. Dallas Performance recently purchased the last four C6 ZO6 APS Twin Turbo kits, directly from APS. We feel that this is one of the best kits on the market, and we are proud to put our name behind these kits. We also have a few improvements we offer to these kits that step it up to another level.

This week, our first customer dropped off his vehicle for the installation of his DP/APS kit, and we couldn’t be happier to have this car for the installation. Tony’s beautiful 2007 Atomic Orange ZO6 rides on 19”F/20”R brushed CCW SP16A’s, wrapped with Michelin PS2’s, LG longtube headers, Akrapovic titanium exhaust with carbon fiber tips, APSIS carbon/leather steering wheel, LG ZR1 style CF splitters, carbon fiber accents all around, and other nice touches fitting for a Corvette that is proudly displayed at area car shows. Just be careful the next time you see this car on the street, because this beauty will have a wicked punch.

We will try to update the thread as we progress in the build, and please contact us if you are interested in purchasing one of the remaining 2 kits (another kit is already pre-sold).

Goals are a very conservative 600 rear wheel horsepower with stock drivability. This will be an easy goal to meet and be a nice well rounded package with plenty of power on tap if he wants to turn up the boost later!

Here are some photos taken before we start work on the car.[/

AWESOME!!! That is a BEAUTIFUL automobile.
