Default Steering wheel

Is anyone else less than pleased with the steering wheel that came with our ZR1's? I sat in a new cts v and it had an awesome steering wheel. The one in our cars is plasticky and just too basic looking.

Of course we are. It's the same one as a Cavalier I think. Yes the CTSV has an incredible interior. I don't know why GM just didn't throw that interior in the ZR1. Here's mine.

Only modification I've made to the interior. Well, other than an MGW short shifter and Mild2Wild button on the shift ****. Makes a big difference in the human interaction category.

Is there any advantage to the short shifter? Can you show a pic of the M2W switch on it? I can't see what you are talking about. Thanks

The quality of that wheel is top notch and the size, feel was dead on for me personally. That wheel is very much in my near future.

I never had any gripes with the stock shifter UNTIL I sat in a car with a MGW shifter at a Cars & Coffee meet. I went home and ordered one that day. True story!

No, that looks like a DSVettes steering wheel.

I had a MGW in my Z06, liked the short throws but it did rattle a bit under hard acceleration. Any rattling with your MGW in the ZR1?

My steering wheel pictured above is from DSVettes.

Here's a thread with some comments about the MGW short shifter on my ZR1 (in response to the post from ub2slow2 above). No rattle whatsoever:

Shifter **** with the M2W switch is from our forum vendor LG Motorsports:
