Hi i just bought a set of kook's header's and off road x pipe with no cat's just wondering if engine light will go on, and is there any issue with this system... also do i need a tune i have killer bee air intake kook's headers and x pipe no cat's and B&B fusion axle back exhaust...

Now i know that with a tune this will work a lot better but just wanted to know if i really need one now because will be probably installing a cam in the future and would save $$$ for now.

You dont need a tune but it would benefit. CEL probably will be on esp with no cats. I put headers on mine and didnt get a tune until i did the Cam. Youll be fine, 02s will compensate.

Ok thank's but with the kook's x pipe no cat's is there a place to install the o2 sensor or not...

I Just went on Kooks website and the picture shows to 02 bungs in the x pipe.

The front O2 sensors regulate fuel, the rear O2 sensors check Cat health. You will get a CEL without cats. You can use sims, turn off the codes with a handheld, or have the tuner turn them off.
