Default how to reset the ECU?

how to reset the ECU? wondering how to reset the ECU, without everything else? assuming pulling a fuse?

after a new battery you should be fine. no need to reset the ecu.

I would think the simple act of changing the battery itself has "reset" the ECU, no?

Isn't there a need to reset the window indexing ? I think its page 2-27 in the manual.

Window indexing is easy. Just hold up (with it in accessory mode or running) the switches for 3+ seconds.

Sorry, to revive an old thread, but it's the first that showed up in google and forum search.

I had to change out my door latch and battery. did the window index reset, but the latch works sporadically. At times, the window indexing doesn't work. sometimes when I close the door, the window indexes, drops down, and repeats a few times. Would an ECU reset and learning the new part installed help?
