You could ask for volunteers, but then your private message box would be full.

Default Why did you sell?

If you do not want to say the reason, at least say was it the car? or was it personal?

If it was the car, what about the car was different than you thought it would be?

I am currently considering buying a ZR1 and it might be helpfull to possible future buyers to know what it was if it was the car.

Thanks

I can try and answer that. I previously had a 1998 vette 6 speed coupe. Loved it, easy to run through the gears and handle etc. Got rid of it and now 11 years later I went and got a 2010 brand new ZR1. Didn't test drive it or anything, just flew down and got it as it was exactly how I would have ordered it. Drove it home, no time to play just drive home before the weather got bad. A month later the roads were decent so I took it out and I hated it the first few days. Way too much power, so much you couldn't even get on it because it seemed dangerous and got to the speed limit and over way too quickly. I told my wife that maybe I should have got a another Vette instead of the ZR1. The next week the weather was awesome so I drove it a lot and that's when I learned how to drive it and keep it under control while still having fun. It does take some getting used to coming from another sports car because this is truly the king. So much freaking power it's amazing. You can feel the car vibrate and begging you to let it loose, it's just nuts.

If you are thinking about getting a ZR1 then go pull the trigger. You will never look back and regret your decision. It will be the best 100 grand you will ever spend in your life bar none!!

Thus the reason Chevy was smart enough to offer the free school - you learn a lot about the car if you have not driven something with this kind of power, but it is just a blast. I have heard of several people who did not go out for the class for various reason, but they don't know what they are missing. I am excited about going back again just because it is fun!

It was so much fun, I can't believe people wouldn't go to it.
If I were the OP I would still take the class as it is a $3695 (for 3 day) value !!
$1500 is like stealing it.............

The ZR1 rocked. I liked it very much. I will compare it to a 08 LP640 I owned from 11/07 to 3/08. As to why I no longer have the ZR1, that's just how I am. I've bought 5 cars in the past 2 months. 3 new and 2 used. The ZR1 is a civilized beast with all the features of a Cadillac . I think the ZR1 would have out run my LP640 in the 1/4 mile and on a track, again this is my opinion not a fact. And for bang for the buck the ZR1 can't be beat.

I have a 2 day course I am pretty sure I am not going to be able to use if anyone is interested.
Edit: I was told this could be transferred but now not sure what the terms of doing that are. I would rather giveit to someone to use than let it go to waste. I will have to call them and see....................
