Are these the rotors that are substantially lighter than the stock rotors?

Send a PM to forum vendor FINSPEED. They gave me the best quote by almost $100.

Turbooo2u, yes, they save about 9.5lbs ea. in the front and 6.5ea in the rear.

Are you talking about the ZIP Products vendor on this site? I didn't see the rotors there.

I have bought from Daniel at Finspeed also. The best, great to deal with, and a corvette guy not just a vendor!

When I checked, they were going to cost $1486 for all 4... Post up if they can be had significantly cheaper!

The website seemed to show the fronts going for less than $200/each.

That was for just the replacement rotors, not the rotors and hats assembled.

I have those on all 4 corners and like them a lot. They are very lite and last a long time.

Our front rotors are $385 each. The rear with the parking brake is $413 each. We also make the rear without the parking brake for the dedicated track car, those are $358 each. We have gone through a couple of updates on the hats that we make. Originally they weighed 16.5 pounds, then we milled the pockets in the top of the hats and got the weight down to 16.25 pounds. Now we are milling the scallop around the outside to reduce weight some more and to try to get some of the cooling from the center to blow over the outside of the rotor. This got the weight down to 16 pounds. That is the current design.

We have recently released a heavy duty version of the front rotor which has a smaller air gap and thicker plates. They weigh 20 pounds, the stock fronts weigh 26 pounds. If you are doing HPDE events and haven't improved your brake cooling much, you may want to consider these. The heavy duty fronts are $390 each.

All of these are made using Coleman Racing rotors and we machine the aluminum hats ourselves in our CNC machine shop. They are all 100% made in the USA, direct bolt in replacements needing no modifications, slotted only - no holes, are directional, correctly vented (both of them), and offer a significant weight savings over the stock rotors. Replacement front rings are $196 each for the standard, $201 for the heavy duty. The rears replacement rings are $155 each though you may never have to replace them.

We do offer a 10% discount on the rotors if you purchase a set of Cobalt Friction race pads with them. If you have never tried Cobalt Friction pads, you need to. Unbelievable initial torque, easy to modulate, last far longer then the competition, and are not abusive to your rotors. I have been racing Corvettes in SCCA for 14 years now and have tried just about every pad out there. Cobalt Friction is the best pad we have ever had on the car. Try them out, you won't regret it!

If you are interested in trying a set out or have any further questions, give us a call.

By the way, Performance AFX, Zip, and Finspeed are all the same rotors.
