[QUOTE=TB427Z06;1577431735]Finally I was able to capture to the best of my ability Supersonic Blue in it's best light. This has proven difficult as the overall impression I get in most light is that the grey overides the blue in the paint. In direct overhead sunlight the blue metallic overides the grey and it comes close to looking as good as my favorite Jet Stream Blue. I know many are still on the fence on this color so at least you can get a better idea of the different looks of this new color; but I recommend seeing it in person. :coo
Funny story here. I just saw this thread I posted 8 years ago and thought I'd update. I grew to hate Supersonic Blue and sold the car in 2012, because of lack of use and I was still working. I had a chance to order/ buy a new dealer 2011 Jetstream Blue Z06/Z07 but went for the SSB because of a better deal. Then after I sold the SSB I began looking for a 2011 JSB Z06/Z07 and then found out they only made 28 total JSB 2011 Z06's with only about 12 of these having the Z07 option. Well after 7 years of looking for one, it finally showed up on auto trader in upstate New York. I picked it up for $46,500 with a new set of pilot Sport ZP's with 23,500 miles. Car is in amazing shape and I'm having the heads redone as I speak. JSB is my all time favorite Corvette color as well, but Elkhart Lake Blue is not bad either, which I have on my 2019 ZR1. It's hard to compare the 2 cars with the ZR1 being such a monster and better in every way. But I still love my used JSB Z06/Z07 which is my new daily driver in retirement in Colorado!

I had the opportunity to break these in. The ELB HTC was by far the one that got the most compliments. There wasn't a day that went by that someone didn't tell me how much they liked the car and the color.
I enjoyed driving all 3 of them. Now they are all being rented and I'm driving my 98" Torch Red coupe.

Since this thread started way back in 2011 is all about Supersonic Blue (SSB) cars ... I still think that the SSB was a pretty nice color (Avail. from 2011-2013)
I bought this SSB 2011 GS new, and still have it today ... now with 23,000 miles and a supercharger on it.

SSB is definitely one of those colors you either LOVE or hate. I ended up falling into the hate category unfortunately. I had been searching for a carbon edition Z06 and most that popped up for sale were in SSB. I would see them in pictures and never really swooned over the color but figured if I saw it in person I would see what most people love about it. Drove about 500 miles to go see one I was potentially going to purchase and it just didn't do it for me. I ended up with a 2011 Inferno Orange Z07/Z07 and never looked back. Best color for the C6 Z06 but I'm a bit biased! For me JSB is a close second, though, and can see why the OP got rid of his SSB C6Z and went for the JSB.

Here’s part of your request. I had ordered edge red calipers which got deleted re constraints. I wouldn’t want the rest of the parts painted ELB.

Hey since this seems to be a compare-the-blues thread, here is a pic from the Last Saturdays car show of my 2011 JSB Z07 next to a 1966 Nassau Blue convert.
