Default 2011 Supersonic Blue Z07 True Color Captured

Finally I was able to capture to the best of my ability Supersonic Blue in it's best light. This has proven difficult as the overall impression I get in most light is that the grey overides the blue in the paint. In direct overhead sunlight the blue metallic overides the grey and it comes close to looking as good as my favorite Jet Stream Blue. I know many are still on the fence on this color so at least you can get a better idea of the different looks of this new color; but I recommend seeing it in person.

Good job with the color capture. I've seen this same combo in person. Looks very ,no nonsense, aggressive.

Those are the best shots I've seen of it. It's such a blend of grey and blue that it seems to be right about in the middle- the blue is definitely subtle. The Comp Grey wheels are perfect for it!

Thanks, I've tried several times to get the best light for really showing how nice this color is and failed. Yes the Grey in the SS Blue does go perfectly with the comp grey wheels!

Looks Stunning. I love the comp grey wheels. Can you provide me with the size tires you are running. Are they 19/20 combo? You just made my color choice easier I am going to pick up a GS tomorrow and could not choose between the SS Blue and Cyber Grey until now. I know not a Z06 but somewhat close. If I could shift I would buy a Z in a second but pins in my shoulder and Elbow make it difficult to shift. Thanks for posting the great shots looks way cool.

Yes, they are the 19/20 Michelin PS's that come on the ZR1, very smooth riding compared to the GY run flats. Glad to help on the color choice and enjoy your new GS!

Your car looks great, and the graphite wheels look good with that new Supersonic blue.

THat being said I will be in the minority here when I say the color doesn't do anything for me at all, I have seen it in person and it just doesn't do it for me (as its just do blah for my liking).

That being said your C6 Z07 is an INCREDIBLE Car (and love the wheels) for that color, and the only thing that matters is that you LOVE the color!

Enjoy your new C6 Z (Z07) in good health, AWESOME machine!

Well your pics helped me choose my SS Blue and now your pics made my choice for the Comp Grey ZR1 wheels easy. Damn I need to stop looking at all these sweet rides on this forum my arm is getting sore reaching for my wallet. Great looking Ride.

Looks good in the pics, but I agree it does need to be seen in person.

It seems to be a trend from GM to pick colors that only look good in strong sunlight and the rest of the time look like crap. I have Inferno orange and I lump it in with the other colors that look great only in strong sunlight as well, so speak from personal experience. Why GM is doing this I dont understand and a long time ago I worked for a GM dealer and being in a more northernly latitude ie the 49th parallel we used to get a bunch of Cadillac colors that we used to call Palm Springs colors, they only looked good in bright sunlight and up where we where they where unsaleable so we stopped ordering these colors. I am hopping that the new c8 colors are better but have my doubts. For me the replacement for my Inferno orange to the new Sebring orange for me only looks good in bright sunlight and the rest of the time is crap as well.
