Default Winter Mods About Complete

Guys...

So in Chicagoland it's been a long long winter and I had a ton of time to spend with the Z. So far I've upgraded the wheels to ZR1 takeoffs from Rob @ the Wixom Performace factory and put on a ZR1 Carbon Front Splitter, LMB custom painted FRC, Brake Booster, Fuse Cover, Alternator Cover and Interior Fake Waterfall from RPI Designs. I also had Mike the Powdercoater do my calipers in ZR1 Blue, Hawk HPS pads, painted the center of my stock rotors gloss black and replaced all the scoops with fake carbon fiber items from RPI Designs. Pictures below.

Last year I also did a bunch of stuff to the inside. If interested see some of my earlier posts as I had Dennis from Double D mods (C5bearsfan) and Greg (Pentavolvo) do a Kenwod DNX7160 Double D stereo system (along with new Polk spears, Elemental Designs sub and Alpine Amp). I combined that with leather items from DSVettes (ebony with red stitching: shift ****, shift boot, ebrake handle, ebrake boot, leather wrapped radio bezel and control pods). Apsis provided 08 fake carbon steering wheel repl covers and door button openers. Thanks to all the vendors mentioned for their great products. The car is really been upgraded and feels more unique and my own.

I still have to put on my Carbon Fiber Killer Bee II and std Beehive from Halltech, ZR1 rear spoiler from Apsis, LMB painted radiator cover & Surge Tank Cover from PRI. Then it'll be time to hit some car shows and enjoy the summer!!

Sure... Here's 3 of them in the garage. They look even better in daylight.

Those wheels, although very attractive ,look like they can be very labor intensive. over all a nice job though

Car looks great. Nice to see some other Z's in chicagoland coming out for the spring, now lets try to get more than 3 hours without rain!
