Melting Slicks
I am soooo glad I bought this instead of my friends 2016 ZO6. I've seen C7 ZO6's listed for $58K.
After headers, pulleys and a tune I'm close to 600 rwhp. Next is kong tank and porting. 😎

In the video below it shows me in the ZR1 and going down the straightaway next to a Hellcat. Three things that were not in my favor:
The Hellcat driver was far superior to me
It was starting to drizzle
The track guys let a car out in front of us coming into the corner.
Either way it was fun!

Great vid....I love my ZR1 but damn those Hellcats for a 4500lbs car can really haul butt.

No Question, they have my attention for sure! I was hoping to get side by side and see how it would run against the Z. Pretty much every other car I've done that with, gets eaten alive. BTW, the driver of the Hellcat was a great guy and had tons of respect for the ZR1.

Gotcha….Sounded louder than stock from inside the HC for some reason...Guess I never heard mine from the back either...lol

All I can tell you is that the people standing along the wall said it was an incredible sound with those two cars wound up side by side down the straight. It's a fairly mild sound compared to a lot of the cars with many mods done, but my favorite is just listening to it when you start it up.

Some beautiful rides in here! I got my 2010 in August with 14k miles. It's up to 19k now. My gf and I took it on a road trip up and down the Pacific Coast Highway, from the LA area to Monterrey and back earlier this month - bucket list drive for sure! It was very comfortable and easy to cruise in for hours at a time. I love it - the power delivery is impressive as well as the refined feel of the ride. Awesome cars!

I’m flying to California on Saturday to buy my first Corvette a 2011 ZR1. Please help hopefully I am not making a mistake buying a high mileage ZR1 but it is all I can afford it has 101,000 miles and I am getting it for $37,000 out the door. It has been my dream car for a long time!
