NEW! 6000k Low Beam Replacement Bulbs **Brighter, Whiter & Cleaner** ON SALE $74.99
We have had countless requests by forum members to source a reasonably priced low beam replacement bulb to update the OEM HID bulbs in their C6's. As many of you notice, the 4300k HID's that are stock in C6's are not far from the yellow tinted appearance of a halogen bulb.
Corvette Mods solution? 100% plug and play replacement bulbs that work off your stock OEM ballasts!
These replacements are rated at 6000k, which is more of a clean white color over the stock 4300k yellow tinted lows. AND they are brighter
You don't need any special skills to perform the swap either!
Price a single OEM replacement at $300 and up and our 6000k replacements are a bargain!
For a limited introductory time we have these marked down from $99.99
ON SALE $74.99

This was one of my favorite mods that I did to my Z. The 6000k has the hint of blue, classy yet attention-grabbing, but not overly obnoxious like many of the ricers around. 6000k lows with 4300k fogs, love the look. I'll have pics up here soon. Thanks corvettemods!

Answer this, please!
I bought the fog HID upgrade from you and you had stated that they were to be "close" to matching the stock low beams.
Well, I LOVE the HID fogs but I don't think the color temp of the fog kit is really that close to the stock lows.
Where do these replacement "lows" fit in on the color temp scale (compared to your fog kit)?
Again, LOVE the fogs - so tell me what's up with this new option.
Thanks!

Sorry for the delay, we've been slammed!
The hid fogs are rated within 200k of your oem lows. The difference in color is due to the difference in lenses (projector lows vs reflective fogs) the addl reflection in the fog housings make them appear more blue. These 6000k lows will offer a brighter, whiter look which will make the fogs appear to match better. I think the stock lows look too yellow to begin with. These upgraded lows look awesome and more modern!

Melting Slicks
How hard are they to install?
Do you have installation instructions?

The stock fogs on the Z are really lousy. Are your upgrade fogs much better and are they easy to install? Thanx.

Are these really brighter than the factory bulbs, Or is it just a color difference? I installed a set a couple of weeks ago, It seems like they are not as bright as the factory bulbs. Any more information on the brightness of the replacement bulbs?

They are slightly brighter. They are also a different color temp. Did you somehow change the height adjustment when you did the install? That may be the reason they appear less bright. I can say that they are not dimmer than stock though.

No I did not change the height adjustment, I do think they shine down lower. I really do not thing I should have to change the adjustment with just bulb replacement. Do most have to raise the headlight adjustment with the bulb replacement?

No, I am not recommending any change to the adjustment. Just seeing if its possible they were unintentionally moved off center when the replacements were installed.

Will it be a problem using 6000k bulbs in the fogs? Don't want to have any heating issues...will 6k in the lows and 6k in the fogs be ok?? Same bulb and temp, right? Or is 6k for the fogs too hot? Thanks!

This may be my favorite mod that I have bought so far for the $$$, the lights are great. I like them so much I want to check to see if I can get replacement headlight bulbs for my DD
