Burning Brakes
I was/am considering selling but i can't seem to get myself to let go.
The problem is i don't really have time to drive it which is one of the only reasons i may want to sell. Still only has 9K miles and it's basically brand new. Still has new car smell. LOL

Dang all these lowered Z's I really want to do it. If i lower on stock bolts and do not cut the rubber, just go low as you can with no modification, does this affect the alignment that much? Would i have to take it right to the shop for a 4 wheel alignment afterwards? How much will my fender to tire gap change? 1/2" without cutting?

Yes and Yes. Well on my C6Z more like 1/2 to 5/8th of an inch. But it looked a lot better.
The other Yes is mostly due to toe change caused by the lowering. Camber/Caster changed little. So if you have toe plates or don't mind the rube goldberg approach of doing toe with a tape and measuring front and rear of front tire in the same tire groove you could adjust the toe back in yourself. Mine moved from a very very slight toe in to about 1/4 inch a side toe out. That would have destroyed the tires over the next 6,000 to 10,000 miles. So you don't need to go directly to an alignment shop but soon.
And of course your mileage may vary.

Yup, exactly what I was talking about.. I got under the car the other day and looked it at. I was thinking of doing like you did and cut the middle piece at the crease and removing the side panels as well. I figured you lowered guys would not have that scraping 24/7.
Any stability issues at high speeds?
