Maybe after all this time Dan, you find out you just have a Z07.

Ha.. No, but to the point, I was thinking maybe his invoice was a "double dip" (CE plus Z07). I will dig mine out tomorrow to compare..

I tried more than a few times for the picture to flip and even took a new one. Keeps flipping it on here, weird. I took a another clearer picture and made it not so big.

I had always thought that in order to get one of these carbons that the car had to be ordered with the "Z07" package and the carbon fiber package, "CFZ". Then you could opt for the carbon edition. Dunno, but will be interesting to see what your sticker says.

Here is my window sticker. Mine says nothing about the Z07 package.

Mine looks exactly like the one above; my sticker was $100 lower because the battery option wasn't chosen.

It's clear to me that the $113k invoice is a lark.. They double-dipped on this one, tried to charge the original owner twice for things that the CE option came with as standard equipment (CC brakes, etc.). I don't believe I've ever seen a Carbon Edition window sticker over $102,000.

Whomever did this, I applaud them for their financial creativity - a clear case of buyer beware.

This owner may have a "rare" window sticker. I wonder if the local dealers had the ability to print these..

Definitely a weird one for sure. Mine is not the original window sticker after doing some more investigation. It was ordered from the corvette museum along with the build sheet. So dunno if it exactly the same as the actual original window sticker that came on the car new but I am figuring it should be since they go by the VIN

I do see on mine there was an upcharge for the IO, wonder if the same should be for the SSB? Wonder if anybody else can chime in that has a IO and see if it was a upcharge.

I had the understanding of that the carbon edition package could only be had once the car was optioned with the CFZ and Z07 package. On your window stickers it doesn't show that you got either package, tho your cars came with them. Maybe GM forgot to add the CFZ and Z07 package on the window sticker for these cars and everyone got them cheaper???? LOL!!!!

Yeah, my guess is the error here is originating from this reproduction sticker produced by the Corvette Museum..

Regardless of what it says on a piece of paper, you have a 3LZ Carbon Edition, built as most were built (I have seen a few 1LZ Carbons, didn't think they existed, but according to their stickers, they do), the only significant variables being nav or standard radio and color choice.

Enjoy.

They are the same wheels that the C6 ZR1 uses (there were some ZR1s built with "Cup" wheels, but the majority were built with the standard issue ZR1 wheels).

Anyone selling OEM C6 ZR1 wheels can help you.

Default Carbon at Sebring

A great print of the Carbon at Sebring. The Carbon made its debut at Sebring in the Corvette Corral.

Default His & Her's

I haven't driven my Carbon since mid December 2014. On the 28th of December 2014 I was admitted to the hospital with weakness in my legs. Forty-eight hours later, I was paralyzed from my toes to shoulders (C3 - C7) was the primary damage.

The cause was never determined.

The name they attached to my condition is Transvers Myelitis. For a short period of time, about three days I thought there must be a cure. The only cure, with no percentage of total recovery is therapy. I started my Occupational Therapy (OT) & Physical Therapy (PT) 16 January 2015. I have out patient PT three times a week for one hour sessions.
During the past few months I have been able to get into the passenger seat for a ride along when my friends take it out for a spin (wife can't drive a stick).
My goal is to get in the drivers seat, currently I don't have enough feeling in my feet.

I will never give up!!

Nick, I wish you a very speedy recovery! I'm sure you'll be driving that AWESOME Carbon soon. Please post a few pictures with you behind the wheel so we know you're back.

I had the same issue when I tried to get a laminated sticker from the museum. I had to email them a scan of my original window sticker for them to get it right. The original sticker was $99925. The repo was $112k I think. I know they added the regular carbon package by mistake and I think another option too. BTW my car is a 3lz with nav, no battery rundown protection.
