Default Hid headlight flicker

Has anyone experienced an issue with the HID low beams flickering?

Dealer said it was the bulb, which there is no warranty.
Both at the same time, well these guys are just technicians.
Any thoughts?

A lamp assembly is $1000.00 US dollars plus installation, now double that. Dealer called it "premature bulb failure".
This car is only 4 years old and rarely driven at night.

Do you think we're going to see allot of these soon?

I come to find there are aftermarket bulbs available but the Dealer has never heard of such an option. This dealer is one of the TOP DEALERS in the country. The peoples on this forum are more informed than the dealer. That's a scary thought, when it comes to servicing your Corvette.

Anyone?????

Bulb is going out. You can purchase replacement D1S 4300 Kelvin bulbs from several CF vendors for under $100/pair.

Here's a thread on a DIY replacement, in case you've never done this before.

Yup, the bulb is going bad... Happens on my Silverado more often than I would like, I replace the bulbs almost every year...

Don't have anything to add on the flicker. My lights will "jiggle" while driving over bumps, which is kind of annoying. Lights are full on tho. They're just jiggling which shows up in the light pattern thrown on the road in front of me.

I think we're saying the same thing.

Thanx for the input.
Bulbs came today, installation is a snap after you remove the front wheels.
Went with the 6000's.
We'll see tonight if much of a difference.
