Transmission noise only in third gear.
I have a 2010 Z06 with 1500 miles, bought it new 4 mo ago. It make a little noise when is in third gear, is like the noise that a train makes on the tracks but is hard to heard it. Is that normal?????

I took it to the dealer today, they test drove it and told me that it is normal. I do not aggreed. Now is doing it in all gears, the sound comes out from the stick shift.

Time for a different dealer. Sounds like low transmission fluid. Can you see any leaks under the rear of the car?

I appriciate everybody willingness to help but we figure out the problem. It was something in the shifter and the boot that was making the noise. The dealer that I bought the car from installed an aftermarket shift **** and something was loose. I will get back to the dealer that I bought the car from to see if they have an answer to the problem, but it is definitely not a GM problem. Thanks for your help.
